Vineyard silk and a new design. This Japanese temari is marked with 42 faces. The smaller snowflakes are a new twist on the traditional kiku herringbone design - the outside points are spaced with more distance on the first row. The large star is inward stitched 5-point star (sakasa hoshi kagari). I love the soft, water-color look of the silk!
